2nd UPCA FAST Pipe Smoking Contest

If our slow smoke contest is too boring for you, let's see how FAST you can smoke a pipe. UPCA is holding its first FAST SMOKE contest.

Everyone get the same pipe and tobacco, just like our slow smoke, but the first one out it the winner! Use as many matches (or a blowtorch) as you want. If you go out with unburnt tobacco, you must refill your pipe and light up again.

The Pipe is a Bent Rob Roy Natural from Missouri Meerschaum.

The Tobacco is Sutliff Tobacco's Molto Dolce.

Contestants may bring their own source of ignition in addition to matches provided and can use their own tamper.

Entry fees for the Fast Smoke Contest: UPCA Corncob

Preregistration Online

$10 for members of active* clubs belonging to the UPCA

$15 for non-members.

* If you belong to a UPCA club that did not pay its 2022-2023 dues, you must register as a non-member. See our Clubs page to see if your club is an active member.

Please Note: When registering online for the contest, ignore the question "Are you a club member?" This is a system-generated question that does not apply to the contest. Please DO check the appropriate box for whether or not you belong to a UPCA affiliated club.
